Here's another vintage build, the Estes Maxi Streak, ready for it's final coat of florescent Orange.Flew this at URRF in early June, terrific flight on a D12 -5.Boosted really high and fast and almost lost sight of it, but a few others had it the whole way up.Came down in the launch field about fifty yards from the pad.I went 5 for 5 on the weekend, everything worked flawlessly. The great folks at URRF have themselves a really wonderful field that they take great pride in and as well they should. The only other place I can compare it to would be MDRA.

thanks for the picture. Did you fly it in primer the first time?
Yes I did, up at URRF.First flight on a D12-5, boosted really high and fast, I lost track in the low clouds but a few others tracked it all the way. This one's a sneaky bugger, you really have to keep your eyes on it.Doing it in florescent Orange, really helps with visibility.36 in.Mylar streamer brings it down just right, doesn't hang up there or come in too fast.
