I've always wanted to make something like Fliskits A.C.M.E. Spitfire, except crazier. What I really want to know is:
Why does it work? Or more precisely, what makes it not fail? What constraints are there on the "off-kilter craziness", or to what extent can I go wild. For example, I have a ton of old nose cones...maybe I could make a rocket that is all noses. Or, could I even go to G/H motors?
Although I'm not really looking for plans here, I was wondering if this was the right place to ask. Some guidance on the ACME Spitfire idea or just the general principles involved would be great.
