How are 29mm motor mounts designed? I have seen some that use engine hooks, but I don't trust a engine hook to take the force of the engine. Could I use a engine block?
I did notice that 29mm AT engines have the aft closure a bit wider than the rest of the engine, I am curious as to why that is, is it a thrust flange/ring?
Just for some background, this is my first 29mm scratch build and my first 29mm build. I want to build a modular booster section that is basically the same as everything below the top pringles can in this picture. I am including an .ORK file.
