Lol. My redundant charge cups where lighting each other. So 4g instead of 2. I replaced them with centrifuge tubes and that solved the problem.

Found a guy who makes them on etsy with a 3d printer
I just sanded it smooth and screwed it down and epoxy it and going to paint it
Should match right to rocket so it does not show as much

This one isn't md but I'm toying with the idea on my MD54..... It'd be cool video... but when I'm flush mounting tiny #6 screws..... mmmmmeeeeeehhhhhhh.....

So I got the 1st coat of primer on and can see some imperfections
But I'm sure they will smooth out
Now a lite sand with what grit?
And should I do another layer of primer or can I move to finish paint

I filler prime then sand and repeat until all imperfections are gone then paint. It is up to you based on how finicky you are about the end result. Generally speaking if you're using good materials and techniques, then the more time you put into it them better the end result.

But then again I am pretty anal about this stuff as I am sure someone will attest.

wow, that is an awesome build. Moreover, I am totally thrilled about the 808 housing. I purchased one to strap on the rocket and hate the idea of taping it. I have been going over and over this, and it appears this IS the answer! So glad I found your thread. Thanks for posting..
