Small Satellites for Secondary Students...S4

I've been in Palmdale CA this week helping out with this program. We'll be flying 'payloads' with ROC this weekend.

Sounds a lot like the CanSat competition in Texas with weather balloons thrown in.

Hope it works out and grows for you. The more STEM events/competitions the better IMHO.

Saw the article about Small Satellites for Secondary Students (S4) in this months Sport Rocketry. I've gone through my parts stash as well as ordered parts, building a payload and a ground station.

Not sure which unfinished vehicle I've got sitting in the workshop that needs to be the carrier for this project, I'm thinking of hollering for some local collaboration and maybe secure a launch vehicle with some group effort.
