The very first flight of Excalibur was on a HyperTEK J motor, as pictured earlier in this thread, when the rocket was painted all black. When and if I get this rocket done, it will more than likly fly on the Alpha I-250 hybrid. The lower asirframe is kinda short of anything much longer than this motor, so the fit seems right.

I love motors with reusable graphite nozzles, much like the Alpha has...
The reloads are kind of short, but from videos I have watched, they burn quite nice...
