I purchased an Arcas from Madcow rocketry.
I dealt with Michael Stoop of Madcow through the process.
Through the order process helpful and more importantly, accomodating,
would be an understatement.
A month went by before I started the build.
2 weeks go by before I get around to working on the nosecone.
After much work on the nosecone, I just happened to slip something round
over the top of it and I noticed, the nosecone is out of round,
sufficiently to be of serious concern.
I have great hopes of achieving mach with this rocket,
my 3" Intimidater is too heavy, it wil make great altitude, but not mach.
With these intentions, I can not leave a seriously out of round nose on the rocket.
It's a lay up, in a mold, as opposed to filiment wound.
It looks like it was remover from the mold too soon, while it was still soft.
I emailed Mike,
There's another nosecone on its way. No charge, of course, not even shipping.
This customer service I've found common with Madcow ( Mike ).
