Are you adding an extra length of body tube or just adding extra glass to the original tube?

I thought polecat kits came with a fiber-glassed airframe?

Just adding extra glass mainly for appearance. Should have a silver carbon fiber look. The kits come with a fiberglassed airframe but the fiberglass is not a tight weave so it would have taken alot to fill.

Cool project. I'm eager to see how that looks with some clear on it! Any idea what motor you want to use?

I really should have put a layer on the tubes for my Nike! The weave is pretty wide, but I still love the kits!

Great looking so far!

Subscribed, looking forward to more pictures :)

I think I am going to  as well!

A 10" Goblin, nice, I see that a lot of people using peal ply on the fiber glass, I don't see any rocket venders selling the stuff, where can I get peal ply from?
Why not use the new Aeroteck DM motor to put the Goblin up?

I purchased my peel-ply from Aircraft Spruce. Sparkies are not allowed at my club's launch site.

Got some work done. The rocket seams to get bigger and bigger.

Are you getting anywhere with this? Would love to see it finished and flown. Particularly would like a look in your av-bay. :)

Haven't done very good posting to the build thread, sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the pics. I agree on the slide in mounts. Not something I would have thought of. :)

Very nice! I dig the rack-mounted sleds!

Later!

Great job so far looking forward to the flight report. I also did a slide in avbay on a 7.5" Thumper and use if for when it flies single deploy or doing some airstarts. This is the one i did and I think it works really good for the short fat rockets that don't have a traditional avbay setup
