I want to get this back: https://www.mach1rocketry.com/product-page/alien-intercepter-bt20-minimum-diameterWhy do you need it so small?
You would need a gps to get it back.. and eggtimer mini transmitter would work. It will fit in an 18mm tube. The one caveat is you have to solder the kit togetherI want to get this back: https://www.mach1rocketry.com/product-page/alien-intercepter-bt20-minimum-diameter
Measuring LPR. Plenty of flying happens in small rockets. Why do you need it so small?
Are you looking for deployment, or just data? There’s plenty of options for data logging, and even more for peak altitude only. The smallest I have seen is Blue Raven which fits into a 24mm tube.
You would need the mini gps transmitter and a receiver.. lcd is what I like so I can see the lat/long.. normally $130 all together.. $110 on sale until monday.. even cheaper if you don't want the lcd..You would need a gps to get it back.. ans eggtimer mini transmitter would work. There are plenty of threads on this topic if you "search." There are. a lot of them that fit that mark. Perfectflight Statologger CF and Easy Mini come to mind. RRC3 is close. The smallest I have seen is Blue Raven which fits into a 18mm tube.
I see I second the people saying egg timer GPS mini and you can send it to people to solder it if you aren’t comfortable with it.I want to get this back: https://www.mach1rocketry.com/product-page/alien-intercepter-bt20-minimum-diameter
I have never seen the point on rockets that don’t go high enough to stop being able to see. But that’s my opinion which is worth 1cent.Measuring LPR. Plenty of flying happens in small rockets.

Check out the TRF post for the sale info and Eggtimers website for more info on them

The GPS module looks interesting!I see I second the people saying egg timer GPS mini and you can send it to people to solder it if you aren’t comfortable with it.
Check out their website for more detailed info.. one thing to note again is its a kit that you need to solder together... or pay someone else to solder..The GPS module looks interesting!
Did you consider that he may want it to come down to a reasonable altitude before deploying the main so it doesn't float into the next county/state.I have never seen the point on rockets that don’t go high enough to stop being able to see. But that’s my opinion which is worth 1cent.
LOL. I fly in Lucerne Valley and I've damn near had some rockets land in Phoenix.Did you consider that he may want it to come down to a reasonable altitude before deploying the main so it doesn't float into the next county/state.

I thought a friend held the record for Lucerne at 12 miles. His rocket landed on the north side of Bear Valley Rd just east of Central Rd.LOL. I fly in Lucerne Valley and I've damn near had some rockets land in Phoenix.
Not really. The e-bay can be contained in a part of the full width body tube and the charges wired from there. That gives much more room. Here are some coupler dimensions. For dual deploy it is going to have to fit in an 18mm coupler/ebay.
And I thought my 6 1/2 miles at Jean Dry Lake was bad...I thought a friend held the record for Lucerne at 12 miles. His rocket landed on the north side of Bear Valley Rd just east of Central Rd.
