Anybody go to LDRS and not see this flight? We missed it but got some pics from a close friend. I also saw the guys at Virginia High Power had the flight video. Virginia High Power You can check out the rest of our pictures at our site Disturbed Brothers Rocketry we also have mid flight and the impact pictures of our stinkin rocket.

I just about bust a gut laughing at that when you posted that pic in the "Forum" section. The video's even better! Was there any damage, and are you planning on trying it again?

that is a very funny pic
you can make anything fly with a rocket engine:)

The guys who flew it were from Wisconsin or somewhere up north I think. It wasn't us. Wish we would have thought of it though. I think it was a loss in the end. It hit the ground under full power with the chutes deployed. 2 M's in it. I don't think the chutes slowed it down much.

The chutes were out when it left the launch rail

That's one way to move the 'ol outhouse once the pit fills up. ;)

the ATF isnt run by monkeys?...here is my question; is the ATF liberal or Conservative. I am thinking Liberal. In this case "left fin liberal"

That is a cool vid. Bummer it crashed

Hehehehe, I've been waiting for someone to do this for years :D Very cool video, thanks for posting the link. This flight alone would have been worth the price of admission, as they say.

I hope someone tries again. If a small version flies, and someone can fly a construction barrel, I have no doubt that a big one will fly someday. :D

Mark Simpson flew an M2400T powered Traffic Barrell at NYPower 2001 for his level 3, unfortunately his tube fin broke off:( I hear he is going to try again at LDRS in Buffalo.....I guess we will see!:)

The outhouse launch is indeed cool, but I've never seen a rocket video as beautiful as the "RIM-67 2 Stage" from that same video archive. Wow... the booster is stable without the sustainer, so it practically flies escort for the sustainer until it lights... sweet.

Full size and Brand New. Sorry no blue water on board to discharge over the crowd ar anything like that.
