I don't have any Zip Kicker and I have some super thick CA (cyanoacrylate) that won't harden. Anything around the house that will help it along (or do I have to wait until I make it to a hobby shop tomorrow afternoon)?

Human flesh.

You can have a blob of CA drip onto your work bench. And the minute you rest your arm on it - bam! off it goes!

Baking Soda fires off CA glue quite well. Be carefull where you use it because it will turn quite hard when it dries, but it is sandable. Oh and watch out for the smoke, it produes an interesting sensation on the inside of the nostril.

Playa dust works great. Really.

You'll find plenty of it in the bottom of your range box that went through the last Black Rock dust storm... or maybe that's just me!

Believe it or not, wet epoxy.

It is a composites trick to use ca to help stick fabric in a layup when there is a problem. A tiny bit of CA to tack fabric in place. The epoxy acts as a medium speed kicker.

Ammonia will work as well. Most accelerators use an amine to kick off CA.
