What does 9500# Kevlar look like when it breaks

Today, I had access to test some stuff on a tensile testing machine for crane rigging...so I decided to test some 9,500 lb Kevlar cord I have. It always blows me away with how strong this stuff is.

At what weight of pull did it break? And it looks like I thought it would.

These two legs had been cycled a few times and had some abrasions before testing, but broke at a little over 6,000 lbs. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have an opportunity to break some ~27k kevlar webbing slings. I'll try to get video of that one.
