I'm going to fly there soon and make a weekend out of it. Was thinking about doing a "round robin" between Mid America and Stanford because I can visit them both in one trip.
Hmm Liberal, Kansas. Interesting name.

Here's one more at Chino, in addition to Planes of Fame, is Yanks Air Museum. There's about 150 aircraft on display, and a boneyard full of planes either too big to go inside, and/or awaiting restoration. You can also walk through the restoration hanger, always lots of stuff going on there. Phil L.

Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum (website) it requires a bit of planning to get a tour out onto the Space Force base but extremely worth it to see some incredible hardware and blockhouses. They also have the Sands Space History Center off-base that is open to the public that they are moving more artifacts to. Very worth the visit if you are nearby or doing a trip to Kennedy Space Center.
