One of those projects that I go back to periodically is a possible Von Braun RM-1 rocket made w/ BT-80 tubes. Some of the 3D renders online are really complex and the original model is actually quite simple - see pictures below.

I need to make some compromises so I can 3D print this without too many headaches... I am looking for feedback / inspiration on making everything look cool enough without being too complicated - any thoughts on what needs to be changed, detailed, etc...?
Can I trust this CP location for the basic elements (more or less the drag of those rear pods)?
Also wondering -- will a shroud that goes 3cm past rear of engine restrict engine power?

It can be done. For me the problem was run-away nose weight. I would run RocSim and add nose weight. Then I would need a bigger motor. Then I would need more nose weight, etc.
