Upcoming research launches in Alaska

There are a couple of research project launches scheduled out of Poker Flat Research Range. Launch window is Jan. 15-31, 2018. One project is carried on a Terrier-improved Orion, the other on a Black Brant IX.

Launches *should* be streamed.

I've been watching a few of the launches on the Poker Flats youtube page

My first thought was "Why are they launching in the middle of the night in a snowstorm?". Then I realized, "Oh, it's Alaska, in the middle of WINTER. The sun doesn't come up for another two months!".
