Saturn IB Fin Question

Trying to get my Estes Saturn 1B finished, but I have ran into a huge issue... how do you get the fins to stay on? Plastic cement doesn't seem to work. CA doesn't seem to work. The wrap is getting beat up with the many gluing attempts I have been doing.

I used to use weld- on #3; it's what you use for plexiglass.

It melts the two plastics together, so use sparingly

had same issue. i use contact cement like gorilla clear grip or aleene's rapid dry, whichever's closest. the aleene's works well but is really stringy, like melted mozarella. been a while since i used the gorilla but i don't remember it being as stringy, however i do remember it being really rubbery and hard to clean off. the 1b offers all kinds of challenges to the MROCD sufferers.
