I was visiting the Quest website today, looking at items that I had ordered during their President's Day sale.

While reviewing the information on the High-Q model it looks like some additional information had been added.

The kit information now states : "This rocket designed by internationally famous designer Scott Branche".

OMG!

I actually saw Scott during the awards banquet at NARAM-51!

I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! ;) :D

Apparently there has been a change in the meaning of the word "internationally".
For that matter, "famous", too.

Oh for the love of God... Bill directed my attention to that and I didn't know whether to laugh, or fly out and kill him. I REALLY thought it was only gonna say that for a day.

Mark II, yes, I met her (Tiffany Taylor), she lives here in MD and was doing a signing of some of her material at a comic book shop in College Park. I was the only one who showed up with a copy of the ferret magazine she was in to have her sign :).

Oh yeah, Modern Ferret issue #22. That was a classic. They've gone downhill since then. I mean really, Tama Janowitz and her ferrets? Not nearly as sweet as Tiffany..

O Ye who is so wise in the ways of flaming sticks. He who's used and charred wadding we are not worth to recycle. Please impart to us unworthy neandertals a measure of your design prowess that we may be seen worthy in the eyes of the gods of the sky.:roll::roll:

Personally, I think that's one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time!

And it's true, too!

For those keeping score, the description for the Raptor is much more low key. It just says "Kit designed by well-known designer Scott Branche."

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Quad Runner description will say about Scott by the time the kit comes out in July.
Something like: Scott says, "YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH: Ferrets, Coca-Cola, good loving, time to sit back and relax."

Really? I was sure that the word "stupendously" was in there somewhere...

"Ferrets: for the good times."

I had to do a search on Tiffany Taylor to see why she's famous.

I'm sure glad my little girl wasn't sitting here with me when the results popped up! :eyepop:
