Well, you couldn't have asked for better weather for the first day of the RAMTEC-15 weekend. Warm but not oppresive temps. a breeze but not windy...what more could you ask for? We had a greater than expected turnout for Day 1 of RAMTEC- 15. Here are the "Unsung Hero Awards" for Day 1 [ in no particular order]:

1. Tom Aument - for single-handedly running the sport range, despite a monumental equipment snafu - and he didn't even get electrocuted! Over 90 sport flights, and Tom didn't get a break all day. WAY above and beyond the call of duty, Tom!

2. Glenn Feveryear - the poor guy was hobbling around all day on a bad wheel, but still managed to CD AND fly the meet!

3. Rick Hackman - for bailing us out on the sport range with is own launch system. Thanks Rick!!

4. Tom Lyons, the ORIGINAL "Fred-Neck" - For pulling more than his share of range duty.

5. Rita Feveryear - for doing all that she does for every SPAAR meet. Thanks Rita!!

Come on out for Day 2 !!!
