This motor has an average delay of 1.8 seconds, compared to 3.1 seconds for the Estes A mini motor. The shorter delay works a lot better for most glider designs--which are draggy and don't coast very far before heading back down. Also good for helicopters--some of them won't deploy their blades if the ejection is too late.
