So I had a design idea and I have no clue how well this would work.

I want to decorate the outside of my rocket with pages from comic books. We are talking a high power 4” diameter fiberglass rocket.

I did a test on a spare paper tube. I used a light spray adhesive to get it in place and then sprayed it with clear coat. The clear coat definitely soaked into the paper. I just don’t know how well this would hold up to a high power launch. I’m not really trying to get a lot of altitude so I’m not too concerned about weight.
Also I don’t know if l will get a good enough adhesion on a fiberglass tube.

Thoughts?

How would you approach this?

I bet that would hold up just fine, as long as you're below about Mach 3 or so.
