I've been a member here for quite some time. I read a lost of the posts and get information but I'm not really into posting a lot. I am a retired Soldier, I spent 26 years in the Army. For the most time I was an Armored Crewman, or tanker. In the mid 90s my friend Mark and I started getting into rocketry. And it went fast. We were doing Estes kits one day and he was buying a 38MM Aerotech and doing Level 1 the next (it seemed). I never did certify, but between the two of us we ended up with a pile of Aerotech RMS motors, from 18 to 38. I retired in 2012 and by that time he had moved to Alaska. We've always kept in close contact, so when I finally started unpacking all my boxes I sent him his half of the things we'd acquired. I started finishing some builds that I had let sit for over 20 years. An Estes pro Series patriot, an Aerotech Astrobee D. And I started buying kits again. He was doing the same thing. It's good to be back in this hobby, and it's nice to pick right up where we left off. scan0022.jpgscan0098.jpg

Thank you very much! It's been another learning curve, I tell ya. The Patriot is almost ready for paint though. I wigged out and got just about every Jayhawk I could (my favorite). And found some old Estes kits, the SR71, the XWing and Tie Fighter. Also got a Super Viper.416754836_1072428837404146_2853265646638946922_n.jpg412213282_24809493435331990_8266995084281432306_n.jpg418452261_10232852335837116_4906301543975437589_n.jpg
