Why is it that when I create a new post, it doesn't show up in "New Posts"?

It showed up for me... Maybe when you create one yourself, it assumes you've already read what you wrote?

B/c when you create a new post and submit it, you are taken back to the thread with your new post in it. Therefore, when you hit the "New Posts" button, you have already viewed it and therefore no longer a new post.

Some boards do, however, show your own posts as new posts. I think YORF works that way.
