I saw this and wanted to share the idea with the TRF members.

Randy Jarvie over on the Estes Facebook page posted this photo with the comment:

"Use a cloth band-aid and coat with thin CA as shown on this hook retainer."​

Those of us in the model trains hobby have known about and been using, that "Stone Paint" for many a year.
 
If a cloth bandaid works, why not any woven cloth ribbon?
I've seen mylar bands, cardstock strips, tyvek, and even gauze.
But never a band aid soaked in CA.
Gauze or a strip of rag, I would think, would be just as good as a bandaid, or better since it won't have the bulge created by the pad in the middle. Or does the pad serve some purpose?

So does the stoned rocket power prang and burn a field of grass?
Only after flying on a J420.
