For whatever reason, I've been on news sites more than usual the last few weeks.

I've noticed more and more, they post a 2-4 minute video of the story, but don't write the story out in text below. If you want to know what is said, you have to spend the several minutes actually watching the video instead of just skimming through the story.

I hate that. I'd rather just read. I don't need to watch talking heads.

Pretty much all the news (and infotainment masquerading as news) sites are doing this as an increasing portion of the content. For gosh sakes... give me the text!

Is it just me that finds this annoying?

Drives me nuts, as well. I read way faster than they yammer, and I don't need their nonsensical banter either.

Add me to that list! That bugs the crap out of me and I generally don't watch them.
