Medicine Bow Mountain

This morning I was looking around google earth while waking up drinking my tea.
I ran across Medicine Bow Mountain.
Has anyone been there?
Looks like an ancient Volcano to me.

Can you elaborate on where this was located? I've spent weeks in the Rawah Wilderness, Medicine Bow Mountains in northern Colorado/Wyoming and Snowy Range in Wyoming.
