Hall effect sensor and a magnet sewn to the chute.
Magnet has to be large enough that the hall-effect can "see" it randomly packed in the bay.
Once deployed it's many yards away from the sensor.
You need to sense the presence of the chute....not just an open bay end....you need to confirm the chute is OUT.
