I just completed my first non-Estes kit, a Madcow 2.6" DX3 (cardboard, K-126). It's built stock, and finished weight is 560g (19.7oz). I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially with the color-shift paint on the nosecone and forward body.

I'm going to fly Daddy's Lil Monster this weekend for my level 1 cert. She is a cardboard 2.6 DX3 painted in sparkle paint in tribute to a special little girls favorite super hero. Wish me clear skies and low winds. Lettering by Stickershock.20200302_233414.jpg
