Loc 4 inch BBX build

So I picked up a loc 4 inch bbx a month ago. And just now starting to get to building it.

Retainer is epoxyed on once its dry I can remove the excess from the outside of it

Is that JB Weld? Usually I'll save that for the last part of the booster assembly or mask off areas and remove the masking before it hardens since it's like a rock after it does.

Its a 4 Inch loc BBX and yes its JB weld. I didnt think about using masking tape, gonna use that next time

Plastic wood x, wood filler. First time ever trying it. Once I get all 3 tubes done I will do the sanding

2 tubes down one left to go. Of course its the fin can tube, the hardest one.

Are you building the fin/motor mount assembly outside of the airframe, or inside?

Outside. This kit has the LOC-N-FIN and ring system so its easy to build it outside. I already have the fin can soft put together and test fitted

Nice. I built my Iris this way. Super strong an easy.

Yea I also built my Big nuke that was but i was able to use rocketpoxy which i miss so much, for this one im using i believe BSI slow cure
