I wonder what the going price is for? I sure could use one to help clear a piece of land down the road. :D

As if I needed anything else to get me pumped up for the new movie...

Did I mention it looks good? I mean, "Empire Strikes Back" good. This could be the payoff for enduring Episodes I & II.

Like this? :)

Just make sure your recovery system works. A lightsaber can cut through rock, so if it comes in ballistic and blade first, it won't stop when it hits the ground...

I have purchased four from this company:

https://www.parksabers.com/

very good quality, a little on the pricey side, but they look and feel great. They stand up to a fair amount of abuse - but you can still break the light tubes.

If you are looking for something a little cheaper, then try:

https://www.amazing1.com/star_wars_light_saber.htm

I have several of these as well. The neon tubes will not take too much abuse, they are more for show and the handles are plastic. They look reall cool at night and are fun for simulated light saber duels.

Well, yes.
That is exactly what I had in mind.

In the fao schwarts in the city they had a thousand dollar light sabre that was supposed to be a prop used in the movie... *envyenvyenvy*

Why would I need a light saber.... I got this trusty .45....

Then again, bullets can be reflected back to me with a light saber....

Wouldn't a real Jedi build his own? (grin)

Actually, the ones I bought from Amazing1 were in kit form - lots of soldering...does that count?
