Ignighter Retention

I am an old rocketeer new to MicroMax. My question is how to keep the igniters in place on these small motors. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Paddy

I use tape of a piece of a stir straw.

I clamp the igniter and set the model directly on it.

Most of the micromaxx setups I have seen attach the igniter to the pad and rest the rocket on the igniter with the tip up the nozzle.

Same here, I clamp the igniter in a spring cloths pins then lower the MMX onto the igniter.
Have had 100% success with ignition.

Lowering the MMX motor onto the igniter is a good way to go.
I've also used square toothpicks after tapering the toothpick sides with a sanding block.
