Wow! Ganged projectors with 1000W bulbs using metallic slides for static image components, scribes moving across opaque, metal-coated plates to scrape away the metallic coating to plot real time traces of spacecraft orbit progression, graphs, etc., moving icons, like a command/service module, done with X/Y controlled projectors with multiple projections then overlaid on a single screen. Video projection method was also amazing. Same tech used through 1989.
