Hi Bob,
It was a scratch build with dual deploy using a chute cannon.
Phil
Looks like a jet ! very cool~2,000 on a J landed nearby
The chute cannon is fascinating! It's how you can have dual deploy in a single body tube. It's just a smaller tube inside the body tube that has the main in it with a separate ejection charge.
That method has been 100% reliable for me.

Very cool MikeMy L2 flight was 2148' on the AT J315R in my Tyrannosaur.
Second flight was on a Pro54 K600 to 6400'.
The electronics eject both the drogue and the main. I put the electronics in a hatch which is sealed off by the centering rings and the fins. Here's a pic of a 7.5" diameter with the electronics mounted to the hatch:The chute cannon is fascinating!
So the engine ejects the drogue conventionally... and electronics fires the separate ejection charge up the cannon? Where are the electronics?
I would love a few more details, does the main tube ride loose ?It's how you can have dual deploy in a single body tube. It's just a smaller tube inside the body tube that has the main in it with a separate ejection charge.

you forgot to mention the 6 mile recovery walk. Being your wing man on that, I can vouch for the walk, getting back when it was dark!7,360 some off feet for me.
Mounted to hatch—clever!!The electronics eject both the drogue and the main. I put the electronics in a hatch which is sealed off by the centering rings and the fins. Here's a pic of a 7.5" diameter with the electronics mounted to the hatch:
