Hogan's Heroes Movie

No, I haven't heard they're making one. This is a thread for who you would cast as the characters in such a movie. I'll start out with two:

1) John Hamm as Hogan
2) Christoph Waltz as Colonel Klink

Discuss.

Also up for discussion is basic plot. I was thinking, "WWII over, Hogan and team work to get Klink, Schultz, and others to American-held territory. Hijinks expected."

Interesting idea. But I’m pretty sure a Hogan’s Heroes movie would not go over well now without an overhaul of the style, tone, and subject matter of the humor. I’m sure I haven’t seen an episode in more than 40 years, but from what I remember, it probably hasn’t aged well. You might have trouble getting the dream cast to sign on.

I always liked Hogans Heros. My wife and I watched it whenever we could until they (Me TV) dropped it for some Gen Z tripe.
