These days the handles alone are worth a lot more than $3. Last time I bought Exacto blades, I paid $11 for 100. The package is about 1/2 gone.

I picked up something similar at craft warehouse a while back. Three handles and a bunch of blades for about $5 I think. These packages are always missing the razor saw though. The one thing I'd really like to have included.
Edit: Those are really nice handles, bonus value for that alone.

In my building experience, I have too many handles. It's the blades I'm constantly running low on. So I find it hard to understand why anyone would pay for a handle. I think this is just me, though...

Comes with a free X-acto handle.

Careful of that old style. They roll, and can roll off the bench and stab your foot. I use the Excel handles with a hex nut at the end so they don't roll.

Looks great! It has aluminum collets instead of the crappy plastic collets that come in cheap sets.

I wish American line made a no. 2 size blade for the big, fat hobby knife handle. Excel makes them, but a 100 pack is almost $29.

I have had the big handle since I was six and am not sure I've used it for anything other than maybe to hold a saw blade in easily 30 years. And that's pretty rare because I prefer Zona saws with their straight wood handle.
