Help with rocket.

I've had this rocket scene the 90s and I looked it up to see if it has a name. I know it's not a AIM 94A so I don't know why Estes used this decal. With search I have done I can't find it without looking through hundreds of photos. If anyone can lead me to a photo I would love to read up on it. Thanks

Well, estes made 4 versions of this rocket. The most recent, python 4, is listed on aerohobby (https://aerohobbystore.com/product/estes-2054-python-4-model-rocket-kit/) as being "a 1:5 scale air to air missile". According to modelrocketuildingblogspot.ca, (https://modelrocketbuilding.blogspot.ca/2014/05/estes-python-4-build-part-1-parts.html) the Python 4 is supposed to be a model from the Enduring Freedom missile series.


I don't know which missile the python 3 is scaled on.

I might upscale it to a 3" build. I will have to make a nose cone mold to get the shape they used.

According to my "Weapons and Warfare" encyclopedia series, the Python family of missiles were made by Raphael Industries in Israel.
