Welcome, NoLabCoatRequired! You'll find more, and more useful, information on this site than you can probably use. I learn something new or at least useful almost every week from reading the posts here.

Possibly the most important and useful tool is OpenRocket. It is free, it allows you to design a rocket and simulate its flight before you ever take the glue bottle in hand. It's free and has a repository of many stock parts from Estes and many other manufactures, and you can design and use your own components too. It's free and very easy to learn and use. It's free and you can substitute various motors to see how your rocket will perform.

Did I mention that it's free? ;)

Best,
Terry
