Thanks for the add! I've been lurking for awhile. My son and I made the most of the lock downs last year. It's a good thing too...we bore easily 🤣 Currently in the fleet:
Super DX3 Payloader
Loc Precision Phoenix 4"
Apogee Zephyr (level 1 certification flight next month)
Apogee Zephyr Jr. (My sons)
Mach 1 Thunderbird EXL
Mach 1 Electron
Estes Majestic
Estes Ram Jet
Estes Black Brandt II
Estes Amazon

On the way:😈
Mach 1 Viper
Mach 1 Red Shift

My wife is starting to think I'm teaching our son to be a super villain 🤣🤣

My son is 7 and he had a great time helping me build my Zephyr. So when I saw the Zephyr Jr in one of Tim's videos a couple of weeks ago I ordered one on the spot. It's first flight will be next month likely on the same day I do my L1 with mine.

I go out with the Souther Arizona Rocketry Association (SARA) when time allows. Good buch of people👍

Actually I don't 🤣 One of the shops I work with forwarded SARA's info to me. But it's quite the hike to get down there. Who's closer? I'm all ears!!

Welcome. I'm in Mesa. Just have been flying the parks LP in Gilbert. I've been wanting to join SARA, but time is a big factor. Hopefully when real flying season starts I'll look into it more!

Which parks can you launch from? I'd like to get my son out to set off his LP rockets but I wasn't sure which parks allowed them. We're near Elliott and Cooper.

I go to Freestone and Gilbert Regional. They allow 5 flights without a permit. Up to a D engine. Supposed to get a permit over 5 flights, but never had a problem and the park rangers and everyone else typically sits and watches. It becomes a cool thing being able to show people that rockets are still a thing. I had one little girl ask where did you get all the stuff? I want to do this with my dad! My daughters love it!
