GPS question

Hi TRF colleagues,

I want to make sure that my iPhone compass is calibrated as well as possible.

For that to happen, I understand, the iPhone needs to have a clear line of sight to the sky. However, I also have these questions, please:

• First, does it help to have cellular data turned on, or is that irrelevant one way or the other?
• And second, does it hurt to have Wi-Fi turned on? Should I make sure that Wi-Fi is turned off? Or again, is that irrelevant one way or the other?

No need for cellular connection, and WiFi will not affect calibration.
