Hello all,
I am asking for information on the stratologger CF altimeter and wondering what the G limit is on it. Also, what’s the most G’s that any of y’all have put it through? Lastly is there any high G limit altimeter that’s relatively compact and not too expensive?
Thanks 👍🏻

If you're looking for an accelerometer to record your flight profile, the Eggtimer Proton has a 120G accelerometer, six outputs, and is $70 (in kit form). If you're just wondering about how many G's the typical hobby rocketry altimeter can handle, it's a lot... more than you're likely to experience unless you lawn dart at several hundred feet per second, and even then it's usually the physical damage from the airframe collapsing, not the deceleration that breaks things.
