I'm amazed that the wings aren't torn off from flutter. Us rocket scientists might could learn a thing or two from this.

Good Morning Terry;

They've (R/C glider pilots) been doing the 'DS' thing for some time now, and there have been many catastrophic structural failures along the way. The one advantage the designers have is that since the available energy is significant, they can take liberties with structure that 'traditional' glider/sailplane designs need to be very mindful of in the interest of minimum airframe weight.

I never ceased to be amazed by the hand/eye coordination those pilots have...
