Estes Air Commander OOP Open Rocket File

A fella over on the Model Rocket Fanatics FB page, Don Henderson, posted a photo of his Estes Air Commander.

I did a bit of digging around and found a Rocksim design for this rocket on The Rocket Reviews website. I used the rocksim file to create a Open Rocket sim and then added the external body wraps.

I have not verified any of the dimensions of the rocket, they are as I found them in the Rocksim file.

Finally got around to trying your sim files - looks good, the flight profile for a C11-0/C6-5 flight pretty much matches up with my experience. I've never done a 24mm/24mm flight with mine - just used adapted 18mm motors in the sustainer. If I ever get my Eggfinder built maybe I'll try and rig a mount for the Air Commander and try going higher.
