Been working on this for a week and this is what I got so far. OR file say stable and will go 1300+ On 24 mm BP and 1800+ on composites. I call it the Talon 2.24mm. Patriot Blue from Krylon. 2 coats on the cone, needs to be wet sanded and 1 coat blue again and then 2 coats clear.

Looks like the big brothers!

Did you add any nose weight? In my experience the design benefits from a little. Keeps it going up instead of turning cruise missile.

I built one with BT60, 18mm MMT, and elliptical tail cone. And nose weight, maybe not quite 0.5oz.

Yes it does! OR says about .5 ounce. I will add that and some hard in the cone to arachnid the laundry and shock cord. This is BT 60 24 mm mount. PNC 60RL, foil lined motor mount. I’m using friction fit and a couple wraps of tape to hold the motor in. Can’t wait to get her in the air and see what she will do!
