While trying to glue the fuselage bottom and strake of my Ecee together, I was applying a significant bit of pressure to get them to seat properly (didn't want it crooked ;) ), and both snapped. Anyone have a pattern for these or a link to one? Jeez, and I just got it today too :mad:

Could you trace the fin stock that you cut it out of?

Mine was built with no problems. I sure hope that the plug gets pushed forward by the ejection charge. It fit pretty snugly!
 
No, as the part behind the strake was pretty flimsy.

I dunno about the plug, my worry about a snug fit was that if it moved, it would be so slowly the plug would hit the point where the gas could vent then have no pressure behind it, stop, and lawn dart. I sanded mine good, still kinda snug. Needs to be a tad looser.
