Do you have any tips for a beginner?

Hi guys! Currently i and few of my friends are preparing for a rocket competetion. And i am responsible for open rocket designs. Do you have any tips like where should i start or sources that you can recommend?

What I would recommend if you're new to rocketry in general, just go to a local hobby store and buy a cheap model. That way you can get some experience flying and get an idea of what works and what doesn't. If you're already somewhat seasoned, ignore all that. YouTube is always a great place to start, especially with something like open rocket. I use both OR and rocksim, and youtube has been a huge help
