I cracked open an Aerotech H13ST DMS motor. The igniter inserts only about 1.25" into the nozzle before stopping against the solid propellant. I assume this is how end burners work (like an Estes BP motor), but I am just double checking. There is no core of any kind in the propellant for the ignitor to go through?
