Hi everyone,
I have noticed that there have been a number of threads recently on the old Estes 'Cold Power' rockets, and, having not seen them before, am quite intrigued by them. Firstly, how do they work? I understand that they use a jet of pressurised gas, but not much beyond that. How high do they fly (I take it not very high, but I assume that this is made up for by the 'fun' factor)? Where can I get my hands on one (is it possible to scratch build one, as I am not really willing to pay ££££ for them on eBay)? And the last thing that I noticed was that the Vashon Valkyrie had an aluminum body tube, which I seem to remember goes against the NAR guidelines, so are they legal to fly?
Thanks
