When BALLS was originally started, it was "Do you have the balls to fly a K?" This launch was K minimum. This is when every body stopped to watch a J. My Laser-LOC flew on a Vulcan K420-20SS. Didn't have electronics then either. No certified motors. Didn't start that until the multi-level certs in 1995. The nose cone has been gathering dust in the closet ever since the BALLS 1 flight. The rest of the rocket was damaged beyond repair.
