Beveling Fins with a Dremel and a Dremel stand

Here are some pics of the rig I came up with to bevel some fins of mine:

The idea is to have the highest part of the drum go just a touch less than half way through the thickness of the fin. The wood I used for the stand was some scraps I had laying around. Next the finished results. The bottom fin is fresh off the Dremel and the top one is what a little bit of elbow grease and a fresh piece of 220 sand paper can do.

I'm sure someone else has already thought of this but I am going to share anyways. ;) It's not perfect but I sure like how it came out. Besides, I am covering the fins tip to tip with glass anyways.

Nice. I put a sharp bevel on my D-Region Tomahawk with my Dremel by hand. It was hard, let me tell you that. I used the paper sanding disks, and it worked pretty well.
