This Ares V was converted from the Lhvcc kit. In can fly with either a single 18mm motor or with an A10-pt in each SRB.

May I ask where you downloaded the kit? Or did you buy it?
 
Houston, we have a problem- or- when rockets turn on their creator .

It performed well for a few seconds before veering of course. At first, I thought it was going to a lawn dart into the roof. Insteafd, it shot back the other way and flew right at me, which caused me jump out of the way. It landed only a few inches from where I was sitting.

I've built this one.
Be sure to swing test the converted card models before flying. Nose weight and more substantial clear fins will be needed to make this one stable.
