Attached is a drawing , a cardboard prototype, and final model with 3D rings with attached Jolly Logic mount.

I have a shroud attached to the payload section, so notches had to be cut on the rings. Once the rings clear the screws and nuts the Bay is turned to secure it. Foam at the bottom ensures further securing of the Bay.

I guess I'm kinda slow. Exactly where does this 'sled' get installed.?? Does it eject.?? Is it in the nose cone or is it in the main tube.?? Where is the parachute or streamer.??

Attached is a drawing that will explain your questions. The altimeter is in the payload section of the rocket. The parachute is in the main Body Tube of the rocket.
The rocket is a LOC EZI65.

Oh okay. I get it now. Thanks for that as I am beginning to have an interest in these sort of builds for a rocket finder/payloads etc. This helps me visualize it.
